Voice Hardware

The Dialogic, Rhetorex, New Voice and Bicom lines of voice cards are supported through their DOS level TSR drivers. Vocalist21 can handle up to 64 ports on a PC.

Operating System

Windows 3.1 or above, Windows for Workgroups 3.11, or Windows 95. Windows NT is supported as a separate product

Fax Hardware

Vocalist21 works with the Satisfaxtion line of fax cards as well as GammaLink boards through DOS level TSR drivers. Up to 10 fax ports can run on a PC.

Phone System

PBX, Hybrid, Centrex

Sound Card

To play back messages and record voice prompts on a sound card, the card must be able to play WAVE files of the u-Law format. Sound Blaster 16 and compatible and most sound cards in Windows 95 will work.

Database Access

Any database and host system accessible from Visual Basic (DLL's, and custom controls, OLE controls or Active X)
